I've been taking it away lately but I know we have to get rid of it completely. He never uses them in public, and we're pretty much down to naps and bedtime. His binky is his favorite thing in the whole wide world and I feel like a monster for having to take it away! I wish he would give it up on his own but I don't see any end in sight. I definitely don't want him to be like my older brother and his binky obsession. He'd turn the house upside down when he would get home from kindergarten just looking for a binky!
I talked to Wes about the binky fairy and he was like no way. I still want my binky. I've tried using the give it to other babies trick, and that didn't work. We tried the cold turkey method but Brian gave into that one. I know it'll be best if we just get over with already but Wes' attachment to his binky is so strong. :(
